Marketing Dept. passes
the Customers' enquiries to Engineering Dept.
which is manned by a Cross Functional Team of technically
qualified and well experienced team members. This team
checks on the feasibility of manufacturing the fasteners
at PFL to customers Requirements.

Once the purchasing commitment is received from the
customer, the Advance Product Quality Planning team identifies
and records various actions to be initiated.
Necessary documents, such as Product Drawing, Quality
Plan and Product Process Plan, Process Flow
diagram, PFMEA, Work Instructions, error proofing activity
plan, special characteristic identification are all
made ready and based on these, trial production is done.
The product is then inspected & tested to verify
its conformance to requirements and then submitted to
the customer along with Production Part Approval Process
document and records for customer approval.

After the pilot lot is
approved by the customer APQP sign off is prepared indicating
that the company is ready for bulk production. A Continual
Improvement Core Team (CICT) is there to deploy continual
improvement Philosophy through out the company that
benefits all customers as well as Pooja Forge.

The continual improvement action plan is implemented
and progress is reviewed periodically to revise/update
the same.
The company has established & documented the purchasing
control plan in order to ensure that all the purchased
materials conform to their specified requirements.
Each Forging Unit has a captive Tool Room, fully equipped with
modern machine tools, Electric Discharge Machines and
Tool Heat Treatment Furnaces. There are several secondary
operation machines such as Centre less Grinding, Copy
Turning Lathes etc. for making various automobile and
special parts.
